What Excavation & Grading Covers
Excavation is moving earth: digging, removing, or relocating soil and material. Grading is shaping what’s left so the ground sits at the level and slope you need, whether that’s a flat pad, an even yard, or a surface that sheds water in the right direction.
We work with a mini skid steer, a 4-6 ton excavator, and a compact tracked loader, and we define what gets dug, moved, and graded during the site assessment so the scope is clear before work begins.
Typical Uses
- Site prep for building areas, sheds, and additions
- Leveling and grading yards and work areas
- Shaping ground for drainage
- Preparing a base for gravel driveways and access routes
- Follow-up work after brush or land clearing
- General digging and material moving
How a Excavation & Grading Project Works
01
Free on-site assessment
We walk the property with you, look at access, terrain, soil, drainage, utilities, and what you want the finished area to do.
02
Fixed price or day rate
If you know what you want, you get a fixed-price proposal: that’s the price you pay. Not sure yet? Book the machine by the day and work it out with the operator as you go.
03
Defined scope
Work limits, access routes, and the expected finish are agreed before the machines roll, so everyone knows what “done” looks like.
